Record Release Party for “Valhalla, Definitely.” This was an event celebrating the release of a compilation of previously unfinished works by The World/Inferno Friendship Society. All songs on this album were demos that Jack had sung on. Over the past year, several former members of the Inferno worked on completing these songs. This album was curated, produced, recorded, and mixed by Society and Foundation member Scott Hollingsworth. The event at Rubulad featured a short film, the Funkrust Brass Band, Sage Sovereign, a string quartet playing a selection of Jack’s songs, and a post show march through Bushwick led by Sunnyside Social Club.
Proceeds from this album went to several causes : Rock to Recovery, MusiCares, O+ Music Festival and year round medical clinic, Envision Freedom Fund, and Tamerlaine Sanctuary & Preserve.
